The location chosen for this music video is an bedroom and this relates to the song because the song is called the lazy song and you can relate lazy with bed rooms and beds. The clothing shirt and black jeans has been chosen because when your being lazy you wear casual clothes and a checked shirt and jeans are known as casual clothes, the props used in the video is monkey masks for the back up dancers and a guitar because the song is played on a guiatr and bruno mars plays the guitar. There is no camera movement the camera stays still and bruno and the dancer and performing to the camera and the camera being still gives the impression that they are performing to on a stage because of how the only way they bruno gets closer is if he moves closer towards the camera.The narrative for the video is they are just going to stay at home and do nothing for the whole day. the lighting for the music video is high key.

Brief

We have been asked to create an music video for my A2 coursework in groups after I have finished my Research post about music videos and my Planning post which will help to create the music video.

Rock Analyses 1 - Safe In New York City by AD/DC

 The Location for the music video is a city tunnel, The tunnel is used to repirsent New York City because you are able to link the tunnel to the title. the police are in the video because it relates to the title and the song, when watching you are able to link police with the title because the title safe in new york city, you can link police with the work safe because the repirsentation of the police is to keep people safe. your also able to link the city tunnel with new york city because the tunnel is large city tunnel and you are able to link that with the word city. The location has been chosen really well because it you are able to link it with the location and the prop with the location.

The lighting for the music videos is spot lights on the band and the middle surrounded and also they use low key lighting when the the camrea does a quick cut to the police in the tunnel standing by there police cars. The lighting also used is the lights from the police cars are the flashing lights.

The editing used within the music video are quick cuts that have lead from close ups of the band and then a quick pan of the police in the background.

The costume chosen for the music video is dark clothing, the steriotype of rock is dark clothing. they are wearing dark clothing and vest because when you think of rock you think of long hair and basic clothes like shown in the music video because when you think of rock you don't think of branded clothes and that has are exspensive you think of basic dark clothing and when you think of rock you think of people with dark clothing and long hair. The cinematography for the video is lots of close ups of the band performing with there instruments and close ups of police and the title and ther some midshots of the whole band in one so your able to see the whole band in the centre surrounded by the police. The props for the music video is the instruments the guitars the bass guitars and the drum and bass guitars because this is  an repirsentation of a typical rock band because when performing they are seen holding there instruments and the microphone.
